My grandpa has been battling prostate cancer for almost 15 years. It's been and off and on battle but this time it going to kill him. He didn't see the doctor in time and the cancer metastized to his bones. Prostate cancer is when the cells in your prostate mutate and begin to multiply out of control. There are two ways to detect prostate cancer Digital rectal examination and a PSA(prostate-specific antigen) test. Early prostate cancer causes no symptoms, which is why you need to be tested regulary, even if you have no symptoms.


Symptoms of prostate cancer in it's later stages are:


-frequent urination


-increased urination at night


-difficulty starting and maintaining a steady stream of urine


-blood in the urine


-painful urination.


-difficulty achieving erection


-painful ejaculation


Prostate cancer is a sad and painful thing. Early dectection is the best protection
