Centrum Vitamins, Prostate Cancer???

i heard on the news that Centrum Vitamins and i think One A Day give you more risk of getting Prostate Cancer, is that true??





I have been taking them for a couple of years now, i am mid 20's and don't want to up my chances of getting prostate cancer, is this true??





Is there any other alternative to Centrum and One a Day??





Is there any websites talking about them giving you prostate cancer and alternatives?? i have been looking all over

Often times the problem with many brands of vitamins is the additives. The FDA does not require that all ingredients even be listed on the label. Reply:You shouldn't worry unless you're taking more than the prescribed amount of vitamins. Check the package. You might also want to consult with your doctor to make sure you're not taking something that you don't need, or that can easily be made up with diet.
Reply:The main cause of prostate cancer is from your body's production of testosterone. You could get neutered that will reduce you chances of getting prostate cancer and premature balding.
Reply:I believe the article was referring to the cancer growing in those who already had this and took vitamins. The vitamins almost feed the cancer, rather than suppressing it.Hope that puts your mind at rest.
