Is it true if a man ejaculates more often, he lessens his risk of prostate cancer?

I read this somewhere. They did a study, and men who ejaculate more often lessen their risk of prostate cancer. Anyone heard of this and how often do they have to ejaculate to lessen the risk?

Is it true if a man ejaculates more often, he lessens his risk of prostate cancer?
I have ejaculated at least once almost every day of my life since puberty, but I still got prostate cancer when I was 57. I'm 62 now and fully recovered but I'm still making sure that I have an orgasm almost every day, just in case! Seriously, ultra-frequent ejaculation may help, but I'm the living proof that it it's not a certain prevention.
Reply:I read somewhere that this is true, and he should ejaculate about twice a week.
Reply:you only need to ejaculate about once a month for that effect, if it was true my man would be just fine instead of taking flowmax, he has had 3 wives and lots of girlfriends and tons of lycopeen due to his itallian heritage and tomato sauce, and he still did the nasty by himself daily, drank red wine and everything else he thinks is good for him. all of that stuff is at best marginal help.
Reply:I don't know but I'm not taking the chance.
Reply:I'm not sure of how often they need to but I have heard that as well. So probably once a day to every other day....if not more.
Reply:All the studies I've read indicate that ejaculation reduces the chances of prostate cancer, but its all still percentages.

Heck - women under mid teens increase chances of certain reproductive cancer by having sex... yet semen in older (adult) women reduces chances of reproductive cancers...

Go figure - humans are designed to have sex... LOL...

Cool question - haven't seen an article on the subject in years...

Reply:i dont think so and there is no solid reference prostate cancer my be just coz of food but its better to ask a doctor
Reply:It cant be proven since any study would have to span over the course of many, many years. But in theory, by ejaculating often, it rids the reproductive system of toxins that build up. Some say these toxins can be a cause of prostate cancer.

Will it prevent prostate cancer? No. If this theory is true, it would only eliminate a single cause of the disease.
Reply:HOW EVER WROTE THAT ARE NOT GETTING A LOT OF SEX AT ALL

THINK ABOUT ALL THE OLD VIRGINS OUT THERE THEY DON'T HAVE CANCER
Reply:possible.
Reply:See the links below. The studies are listed.
