Is there a relation to colon polyps and prostate cancer?

My husband had colon polyps 15 years ago and is now diagnosed with prostate cancer. Could there be a relationship to that?

That is a good question because my grandfather-in-law had prostate cancer 13 years ago and has an appointment to see if he has polyps.. Never thought of that maybe it is..


I am going to ask that question tomorrow, that's when his appointment is.

Sometimes they can bleed causing anemia. A polyp is defined as a growth that projects, often on a stalk, from the lining of the intestine or rectum
